Billboard Awards, Hot or Hot Mess?
Did you check out the 2006 Billboard Awards last night? Oh boy. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, it did. Musicians with celebrity status were looking pretty strange indeed. What happened to just looking pretty, sexy or even elegant for that matter. Noooo, half of the women looked like they went shopping in the land of the bizarre and the men just looked like yuck. Maybe I’m getting old, but I just don’t see the attraction to weird dressed folks with ugly hair and too much makeup. What the heck happened to cute little Rihanna?
All that flat chest exposed is jut not hot. And that part down the middle of that too long weave with a big huge bulb of a head underneath is just plain ugly. Rihanna is young and could be lovely. Scrape off half that war paint girl! Rihanna, you were one HOT MESS! Now, on the other side of the spectrum, a woman who is still “showing what ‘cha workin’ wit”, Carmen Electra knows what’s hot and what’s not. She’s still working the red carpet. Maybe she can show these youngsters a thing or two.
The dress works. The poses work. The hair works. The makeup works. Carmen Electra - HOT!
Now on to hugely bad hair. Who the heck told Denise Richards that she needed a birds nest floating on top of her head? And what about that intricate conch shell style that Gwen Stefani had perched on her head? But funny girl Kathy Griffin takes the cake with those awful, worn out, flat bangs and fluffy hair. These 3 ladies are NOT HOT!
On to more not hotness….Janet Jackson. 
Gotta love her. She’s got her groove back. Well, at least her body back. But she is soooo confused in the clothing category. She can’t seem to decide if she’s being girlie or wearing the pants. This dress from last night is a perfect example. Leave white cuffs and black tie to the tux. And those collar winged things flying off your boobs, are just not hot. The shoes are bulky and should be reserved for the closet. I do love the hair though. I may just have to borrow that style myself, but for the rest of the ensemble, sorry Janet, NOT HOT!
For best NOT HOT group. Danity Kane is utterly confused. Are they going to a lingerie party at Hugh Hefner’s or or to an awards show. To be fair, the group member in the grey dress looked pretty sassy. It’s the other tacky girls who messed things up. Did Diddy pick these clothes? 
Who is Vida Guerra? She’s following the foot steps of Beyonce’ and J Lo that’s who. She’s flaunting her backside like she knows what time it is. the weave has to go though. Color doesn’t match and the straight hair is totally different from the curly weave hair. I do know weaves…I give her a nod for hot.
Now for major HOT MESS, there is no competition in this department. Say it with me now. Flavor Flaaaavvvv! The picture says it all. Now, I say, if you are a little lacking in the looks department, why not try to spiff if up a bit. Looking like a buffoon and acting like one too does nothing for your hotness. Flava is just not hot.
But to be fair to my girls, I do need to include a hot male here. And I now they think that Chris Brown is all that. So for a young man, he was HOT! Clean shaven. Bling in appropriate places (I could rock that bracelet). And a the clothes were on hit.
I give the Billboard Awards a thumbs up for HOT MESS!
