Gossip Girl Makeup - Hot or Not?

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year because I’m addicted to television series, it’s one of my guilty pleasures and I started watching the CW’s Gossip Girl and although I’m past my teenage years, television series glue me to the screen. It’s something that I’ve stopped trying to explain it and just accepted it.
Gossip Girl is an incredibly popular series of teenage books chronicling the lives of teenage socialites of Upper East New York through the eyes of Gossip Girl, the juiciest blog online for all those interested.
I’m used to TV teenagers being a lot more adult looking than real life teenagers but oddly, Gossip Girl was too overdone, it’s probably the goal at making already old looking *ahem* teenagers doing their max to look even older (specially if you compare the female characters to the male characters) giving them a look of young people who are wasting their teenage years trying to look older (while in the future they’ll sell their souls to look younger) but it seemed a bit overboard to me.
Main characters Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester)play opposite looks, while Serena plays neutral barely made up, Blair is a lot sexier and with a WHOLE lot more makeup and sporting red lips and blushing cheeks with a glowy tone.
I’ll definitely keep following this and if there’s anything interesting makeup wise, I’ll be sure to let you know.
