I’ve Got to Try Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup
Mineral makeup is all the rage right now. I don’t really believe it’s all that much better than conventional makeup, but for many women who want something that’s seemingly pure, mineral makeup is their answer. I think the number one reason is that it contains a natural SPF. Well, every woman should be wearing a sunscreen daily, with or without their makeup. Others love that they don’t contain preservatives and other additives. As a makeup artist, I’m all about the coverage and wearability.
I didn’t have any success with Bare Escentuals; it didn’t match my skin tone and dried out my skin. So now I’m on to Sheer Cover. Check back in 30 days for my review! If you have opinions about Sheer Cover, Bare Escentuals or any other mineral makeup, please let me know!

I am REALLY interested in how Sheer Cover works for you. I have been using Bare Minerals for a little over a year now. I like it much better than liquid foundation, but It does dry out skin. I have been curious about Sheer Cover, but I didn’t want to experiment just yet. Anyway I’ll be looking forward to that post in 30 days!

i have very dry skin & i solved the dry, cakey issue by just having the proper moisturizer underneath. i find working with an esthetician helps as now i’m using products more appropriate for my skin type. i use Decleor Aroma White Matifying Liquid. it’s thick, so sits on my skin like a moist layer vs. being sheer & being absorbed too quickly. so, with that spf of 15 plus the spf 15 from bare escentuals, i have plenty of sun protection (i’m naturally tan). i actually look shiny & moist throughout the day, but more dewy shiny instead of oily shiny

I’ve been using Sheer Cover for a few days now and so far I don’t like it. I normally just wear moisturizer with a nude powder to control shine. Sheer Cover makes it look like I wear foundation and doesn’t control any shine. I love the cleansing products but as for the mineral foundation I’m not so crazy about it. I’m going to try it out for a bit longer and if I’m still not impressed then I’m returning it for a full refund.

I have to say that I’m not impressed with mineral makeup, at least not on my oily complexion and although I haven’t tried sheer cover (mainly because it’s mineral makeup and I try to steer from it), I can understand what you mean. Usually mineral powders have a sort of glow that mixed with the skin’s natural oils makes us look even shinier.
