Yves Saint-Laurent - The Nail Touch
Yves Saint-Laurent is well-known for turning everyday use cosmetics into a pen format that allows not only great portability but easier application.
This Summer YSL created the wonderful Nail Touch pen in six semi-transparent shades for optimum nail care, from transparent to pearly nude colors and you can top any Yves Saint-Laurent nail lacquer with Nail Touch for a pearly finish.
At a first glance, I wasn’t convinced at how practical the lacquer application would be, it seemed that it would result in streaky and yucky looking nail polish, still as I’m incredibly curious and like to try everything I gave YSL a go (they did create one of my favorite non-sticky glosses with Le Touche de Brilliance) and although at first it looks like it’s going to look like a poorly finished job done by a blind monkey it dries out beautifully to an even and glossy finish.
Something else that I feared would be that the product would drip from the brush making it an ungodly mess, but no, it allows precise application and it’s mess free. Definitely this is an item to take when you’re out of town or on vacation.
And as a plus, it doesn’t have that intoxicating lacquer smell.
